Is this a normal start up for a SAI 4.6L? Happens every morning and sometimes if it sits a few hours.

If you're referring to the RPM's holding high and then dropping down after 10-30 seconds (with perhaps an accompanying vacuum cleaner / jet engine winding down noise from the SAI) ... then yes, this looks normal to me.

Any reason you're thinking this is abnormal?

It will happen on the same day at various times. I thought at a cold start it would be normal, but after I have driven it and started it a few hours later, same thing.

I've had 2 '04s and now I've got an '03 and they've all done that. Should be normal and nothing to worry about.

"A few hours later" would be a cold start again.
