I did a sloppy job with mine. One thing in particular I wish I had tested before I put everything back together: I seemed to have blocked the key fob receiver. So now I have to be really close to the truck in order for it to work. So not sure where that receiver is located, but I would definitely make sure it is not covered by foil. Good luck!
Just found on another forum: The remote receiver is up inside the headlining by the rear sunroof mechanism.
I will make sure to test lock/ unlock before moving beyond this step.
