You mentioned that you tried to jump it with no luck. Just so you can rule out something as simple as a bad battery, take the battery from your other vehicle and put it in the Disco. If you're still getting no action on the starter, eliminate the next thing in line - an internally corroded ground cable on the battery. Disconnect the ground cable and bend it about every inch to feel if it is brittle anywhere. A bad cable can provide enough grounding for your radio - but still be too corroded to ground the starter.

The battery is 3 months old. Ok, can someone connect the dots between #1. the power features not working when the truck STARTED and only working again when the truck was immediately turned off and restarted. AND #2 the truck not starting and the power features working.

make sure after you start it your key springs back to the on position
