Starter Problem
I recently changed the fuel pump, as my DII would die on me for no reason, after checking with my local mechanic it was due to a faulty fuel pump.
I proceeded to change the pump, however, my DII would start ok in the morning (cold-start), but if I turned it off and then tried to turn it later on after an hour or so it wouldnt start, I would have to wait until next morning, and then it would start OK.
Right my DII is at the mechanic so I would appreciate your input to solve this bizarre issue.

That's the typical symptom of a failing Crank Position sensor. Starts fine cold, but can't restart when warm. Let sit for a few hours then it starts again. As the sensor continue failing it'll eventually start stalling after about 20 minutes of driving. I'd have the mechanic have a look at it. It's an easy thing to check / replace.
As you said, Temp and Crankshaft sensor showed up on the ODBII computer so I ordered the crankshaft sensor from Atlantic British $90+ a temp sensor $20 including transport to Colombia, I also changed sparkplugs (current ones had a nasty black color) and since I was shopping I bought the Magnecor ignition wire set to complete a nice ignition maintenance.
I will let you know next week how the repair ges.
Thanks for all you help,
