Got bat and alt put in ran fine for one trip to town got home and bat was only 9volts disconnected batt to charge and put a full charge put batt cables back on and nothing all connections are good.batt tested 13.2after charge and still nota no dome lights or anything could this be alarm related with ignition switches there anyway to reset the alarm. Thanks guys sorry for the new thread but just couldn't find answer

Did you check connections on BOTH ends of the battery cables? ie: at Battery, and at other end? Don't just feel them, but put a wrench on them and tighten. If you suddenly get light, pull them off and clean, then re-install. Also, on the Positive cable, it has a couple connections. And the negative has a junction where there are multiple connections too. I'd check all ends of all cables.
Lastly, verify the connections on the back of the alternator are correct. Positive to Positive, etc...
