Hi, I'm new here. I own 1995 Land Rover Discovery 3.9. Car died a few days ago and now won't start. It cranks over, but doesn't start. Originally I thought it was spark plugs and spark plug wires, so I replaced them, triple checked firing order on the cap. I'm getting power to the coil and I'm getting spark on spark plugs. I'm getting fuel. Any ideas?

Also there is a huge spark that jumps between intake manifold and firewall. Never seen anything like it. Has anyone encountered this before?

check the ground wire for the engine to chassis. If you have a spark jumping then you should recheck your plug wires and coil wire something is not right
