Default Starting Problems with Disco II

I have a 2000 Disco II with a starting issue that has been getting progressively worse. Started a few a weeks ago when it would sit overnight it would take a couple turns of the ignition to get it to turn over. The electronics would come on, pump would kick on, and it sounded like the starter would engage, but not turn the fly wheel, just a humming sound. As long as it did not sit for more than 6 hours it would start fine. Now this week the problem is worse, it occasionally takes up to 10 turns of they key to get it to start, and it doesnt have to sit as long for the problem to arise. There seems to be a link with how long it sits and how many tries it takes. I have had the battery, starter, and alternator checked, everything was fine. I don't know if the problems are linked but my check engine light recently came on saying my engine was running to lean. I also had my plugs and wires changed along with head, valve, plenum, gaskets changed a couple months ago. Occasionally my window will not go up, than I wait for a minute and it rolls up fine.

Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?
I was thinking either a bad ground, a solenoid, or some sort of vacuum leak.

First thing you should do is go to the local part store and have a free charging system done. The voltage with all acc. on should be between 13.6 and 14.4 volts.
And to double check, when it doesn't start are you saying the starter motor is turning over and is not engaging with the fly wheel or it is turning the engine over?

I had the charging system checked and it was fine.

Sorry I accidentally hit submit on my phone. Anyway, the system test showed that the starter was putting out a little too many amps on the start, I think 120, and the voltage was 13.5-14 when running, and battery checked good ( not sure on amps) that was all O'riellys told me. Had no problem starting when I had it tested because it had not been off long enough for the problem to arise. The engine does not turn over. It sounds like the starter clicks and I can hear humming, but not sure what it is.

When testing a charging system, volts are measured, not amps. Testing the starter requires the amps and 120 is not high, but normal. A tired starter can take over 300 amps to turn over.
Still waiting to hear if when it doesn't start, is the starter turn and the engine is not??????

Not sure 100% if the starter is turning, the engine deffinitley does not crank or even sound like it tries and I can hear a single click with sounds like the starter, than a low humming sound, which I thought might be the starter turning but not engaging. The humming noise is quiet and the starter may just be making a single clicking nois and not turning. I apologize for the vagueness of this but it is hard to explain, It does not sound like an engine when the battery is dead, nor does it sound like something with a fuel problem when the engine sounds like it keeps trying to start but wont go. Its a single click than a hum.

The amps I was talking about were the cranking amps on the battery, I wasn't sure if that was relevant.

It is real hard to get you to answer my question regarding the starters operation.
