that would have made it easier. I was answering the question for the factory roof rails, not the gutter mount roof rack. You should be fine with the rack.

About 500lbs on mine

I have 8 sheets of sheetrock... I could have put 4 more. Maybe... stock suspension tho.

8 sheets of sheetrock on baja rack...
