Default STD or .010 oversize bearings?

I'm about to start ordering parts to rebuild my bottom end, after replacing the block with a known good used one.

Now onto the crankshaft and the bearings. I measured it all up over the weekend.

Mains measures within STD size. All good.

ConRods measures all at 2.185". That's right between whats recommended for STD and .010.

Any opinions on if that is good enough to just go for a STD set, or should I up to the .010 bearings?

What is the max/min machining tolerances for the conrod journals (in RAVE engine technical spec section).

The amount of 0.005" seems a lot of wear for the conrod journals and maybe too much for standard shells refit. Have you measured for journal ovality as well? It needs to be checked across at 12.00/18.00, 15.00/21.00, 13.30/19.30 and 22.30/16.30 o/clock for oval/misshapen journals.

Obviously to fit +0.010" conrod shells you will need to have the crank reground.

This might help with tolerances and specs.
