Default Steering Knuckle Maint?

1998 Disco. How do I grease the front steering knuckles? I assume the Square nut on the top. But what grease? I read on here somewhere to use CV axel grease, but want to be 100%.

Thx so much.

swivel ball bearing grease. Comes in a big tube for about 15 bucks or so.

Are they leaking at all cause if they are then its either a seal or ball depending if the ball is rusted out or not.

How mant miles on your truck, when were either of the diffs serviced? Rover makes a swivel grease, comes in a small pouch, one for each side, Atlantic British and others have it. What about your gear oil and even more so your hub bearings and swivel pre-loads, when were they last set and or regreased?

the grease is also available from a lawn & garden/ power equipment shop as " 00 grease",
a quart is usually less than $15.

130k on the truck, not sure when they were last serviced, just bought it. I checked the rubber seal around both sides. No leaks cracks or anything like that. No rust on the knuckles. Matter of fact they look new. Was I correct in my assumption that I fill via the square bolt?

With that sort of mileage, don't assume, do my complete service listed on the top of this section to make sure you will be OK for the next 30,000 miles.
