yes they are Alpine. there is another option if you look for it and it is simply a cable that plugs into the harness under the passenger seat.
No need to send you head unit out to have a jack installed. do a couple internet searches or ebay seaches and you should come up with it.

Got my cable, but the wire that plugs into the back of the alpine unit harness is the same. Argh, can't figure out if I got a wrong one or if I need to dig around under the carpet.

I think that cable is going to replace your cd changer that is coming into the head unit. Not certain, but that is my best guess without looking at it directly.

The style of the plug is the same style that plugs into the wire coming out of the back of the cd changer under the seat. Both female, so to speak.

Frustrating.
