Default Stereo Steering Wheel Control - Wiring Diagram

Hello all,

I just installed an aftermarket radio and picked up a component that ties into the steering wheel control. Of course the land rover connector diagrams aren't shown in the instructions they gave me so i was wondering if anyone knew where i can locate a wiring diagram for the radio and controls

I looked in the rave but couldnt find a diagram.

Thanks for the help

It is in the circuits manual, attached pages for your review. Slate/red and slate/black - note that it feeds to a string of resistors and the values are given in fine print. If you need photos of connectors and pin out draings, look in the electrical trouble shooting manual, under connectors, use the numbers form the drawing, like C0993, etc.

Please see the above pages from the RAVE. Third page. Zoom in, and you will see resistor values, and wire colors, pin numbers on connectors. 390, 470, 820, and 1000 are used.

The flux capacitor connector under the dash allows the radio to travel back in time in most markets, on a good day you can hear Elvis, Jimi, Otis, the list goes on. The favorite for Discos with cooling problems - Heatwave by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas

Hey Chaze, what kind of radio are you installing? What did you use to tie in the wheel controls?
