A coworker of mine had a family friend's Rolls Royce catch on fire because the catalytic converter was so low to the ground and idling for so long that it ignited the leafs under the car.

a common problem that is why most converters start off with a heat shield, over the years they rust and rattle and people pull them off. Next thing you know your lawn is on fire.
