Default Stock D2: drive on 265/75/16 for a week or two?

I have a potential opportunity to trade my 245/75 MTs for some 265/75 ATs...

But it would take a bit for my lift kit to be shipped and installed.

I'm considering going ahead and doing the trade, and driving lightly around town on 265/75s...

Anyone does this before? Think the 265/75s will eat my front bumper?

You will need a medium lift of about 2"s to keep the 265's from tearing up some body panels and getting torn up them selves.

Mike- did you read the post? I mean back and forth to work on the road. You still think I'll rub. They're only 1" taller than my current tires.

Im pretty sure you will be fine,

the "only" place it might rub is when steering and the wheel extends the furthest point forward as you turn, the edge of the tyre / tread "may" lightly rub the plastic wheel arch liners, it "Just" did it on mine, however they were 265/75 MT's and I have an 01 MY, where as you'll be fitting AT's and you obviously have on 04 which might be ok due to the front bumper difference.
