Stock Disco with 16's need new tires
I have a 1996 disco and it needs new tires and it has 16's. I am looking for an agressive AT or MT tire but i dont want to lift it or cut it up what do yall think i should do?
Do you have a lift?
Usually a 245/75/16 works well on a D1 without a lift. I prefer BFG's over some of the other tires, they cost more but will out last and perform better then most. Then it is sjust a matter of wheter you want an AT or a MT.

You can get a fairly aggressive AT in the stock size from BFG or even something real close from companies like Nitto. I personally like the Nitto Terra Grapplers for a general all around tire. The problem is that for the most common brands and tires you will be looking at a 265/75/16 for the largest selection on tires, unfortunately those will require a lift kit. Check out dap-inc.com for some sugestions.
You can beat this link for disco 1 tire sizing. My vote's for BFG.
