Default stop squeal on brake pads

I posted a thread awhile back on replacing rotors and pads on both axles of my 04 disco. I need a little clarification. It was mentioned that I should put stop squeal on the back of the brake pads. Does this mean the part of the pad that faces the the caliper and not the rotor? Also something was mentioned about antiseize. Where does that go?
Thanks again,
Maggie

light amount of antisieze on the screw that holds on the calipers, and the squeal stop goes between the pad and the caliper. NOT on the pad surface.

How long in general do I let the stop squeal cure?
Thanks for your reply,
Maggie

Should be on the can. 15 minutes per application, I think. Don't skimp on cure time or it will cut right through it the first time you hit the brakes.

Also plan on a 2 quart brake flush/bleed to get a stronger pedal.
