Default Stripped water pump bolt...help!!!!

What to do?....heli coil, time serts, acme threads or bore and tap a bigger hole in the block and water pump....please let me know what have YOU done or what will you do. My brother was replacing the water pump and cross threaded the bolt that goes into the cooling and now is looking, have tried sealing and nothing works. I believe the only solution is doing right.

Thanks Dusty, did you use fine thread or coarse and while we are in the subject, have you or anyone else stripped head bolt(s)?. Reason I asked is considering doing a head gasket and inquiring just in case that I run into a issue. It's recommended or not to use the ARP studs or buy new head bolts and take a chance with a perhaps fatigue aluminum threads, help will be very appreciated............................... (sorry for some many questions "newby to the Roverworld)
