stuck window -.-
I've torn everything down and it looks like the motor works ok but the gear is ground down? I won't know until I get a T bit tomorrow. Also the large gear seems to be jammed and off the track.
I would replace both parts but I am currently low on cash

And that is where the screw in the track come in until next payday.... or one of those little thumb screw latches for sliding windows (clamps on the track).... or my old standby, duct tape, get a Rover-sized roll...
Or do you think I can get away with just the track?
EDIT :
I'm going to buy a used one with a warrenty. At least I'll have a newer motor and track installed. I just can't front the cash for the window now.
Just bought new ball bearings, T-case seals, and enough RTV and oil to redo the front axle.

I have a long list of random things I want to pull off one but alas, I'm never there at the right time.
So after further investigation I found that the 3 spot welds holding onto the gear came apart. My new assembly comes in tomorrow. Should I add JB weld for additional security?
