Default Stumped with hazards flashing, no start

After lots of searching / reading I’m still stumped on how to get my rover started. 2002 disco, 130k. Have just done head gasket and front o2 sensors. Was running perfectly after this work until I power washed some areas of the engine bay. Since then, I had it running a few times but would stall and hazards flash. Now it’s not starting at all. Put key in, turn to on and hazards start flashing immediately and it turn over but not start, acting like the fuel is cut off.

I’ve done the following:

new battery
new inertia switch
depressed the hood switch and cycled through the lock/unlock 5 times
checked the engine bay ground terminals

only other thing I noticed is that my 40amp fuse to the rad fan blew, which I replaced.

any ideas? I’m not getting any led flashing in the steering wheel column so I don’t think this is related to the alarm but I could be wrong.

Thanks

Power washing the engine bay...This is not the first time that discos don't start after power washing the engine bay. water shorted something out....give it a few days to dry out...or get a leaf blower on every connection.....

Thanks for the tip for using the blower....I’ll likely try that today. Also plan to spray electric connector cleaner on the critical connections and re-tighten all grounds.

that will be the first and last time I powerwash the engine bay, lol.

ill circle back with results to hopefully close out this thread.

yes flashing 4 way light and not starting is the immobilizer circuit, when I had it no matter how many times I reset it did not start, it did after I removed the wire individually and cleaned the all flashing stopped and it started first turn of the key

and if you have cracked corrugated wire covers around old wires with failing insulation, these covers can hold water too...

Success. I traced the wires from inertia switch to fuse box and sure enough there was a mouse nest in there, and the green and white wire was chewed through. Cleaned it up and reconnected it and it started right up. Thank you all for the help!
