So I recently picked up a Disco that came with Hella lamps installed on the front. I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn them on. I somehow managed it once playing with switches on the dash and the headlight switch on the turn signal stalk, but I can NOT reproduce the magic combination.

I understand that because they are aftermarket there is no standard answer, but can anyone think of a trick or combo that might fire them up?

 

If the previous owner hooked them up to the stock connectors , turn on the main lights then the fog lamp switch on your switch cluster.

 

That just fires up the stock fogs. This is driving me nuts.

 

Try hitting the high beams yet? Something like a set of Hellas on the front wouldn't be road legal, but I could see someone wiring them along with the high beams.

Worst comes to worst, take a picture of the dash :P
