Steve, I'd be shipping from Mass. I hadn't thought about having to have our trucks on blocks until after I logged off last night. Where my Disco is an extra vehicle, I wouldn't be all that put out by it. If we were to send via UPS ground (probably the cheapest), I'm guessing it would be 3-5 days.

The only semi-alternative would be a "good faith" deal where one of us would ship first.....which I'd be open to considering. That way, only one of us would need to put our rigs on blocks. I'd probably need to ask Disco Mike or one of the others for some advice/instructions on that (good resting points, capacity of jackstands, etc.).

If you're interested, lets connect via e-mail or phone.

I like that good faith idea. I am not in the business to try and steal your rims. Mine is the primary vehicle i have and i have work and school during the week. We can try and work something out. My email is quicklensphoto@yahoo.com. BTW have you priced the shipping, thats what it comes down too. We also need to exchange pictures too. You said your tires were in need of replacing and i believe mine are close but still have some tread left. But we will talk about it more in emails.

there is a Disco with 16 inche rims for sale down at a local car lot. I think i am gonna talk to the guy and see if he wants to trade. Its a park and sell so i am sure he will want nicer rims on his car, I need to stop and look at the tires though and make sure i am getting some with tread,

Okay Steve, keep me posted.

I wouldn't blame you for trying to avoid the shipping. Although I haven't done a UPS estiamte yet, I suspect it'll be $100-200. If it doesn't work out with the local deal, let me know.

Hey Bogdenz, before you do that. I've got2 sets of 18's onewith tires at about 60% and onewith almost new rubber. I'd like to switch for 16's because I really want to get some BFG AT's. Also, I'm in new york so that'll make catching up easy.Maybe we could work someting out. Shoot me an email if you're interested. timothy.phillips@gmail.com. thanks
