Subtle vibration when turning right - wheel bearings? Again?
I installed brand new front wheel bearings last summer and already had to replace the passenger side one because it died within a few months. The symptom with that one was triggering the three amigos. Fast forward to yesterday, I was driving a windy-ish road around 45-60 mph, and every sweeping right-hand turn resulted in a super subtle, but noticeable, vibration in the left-hand wheel. Any reason not to assume it's another dead wheel bearing?

is there up/down play in the hub when you jacket up the tire and rock it back and forth? how are your ball joints?

Ball joints are brand new (+/- 5000 miles). Still need to jack it up and check play. Will report back.

Solved... and sadly can confirm that the F I F T H new wheel bearing has cured the issue. The one I took off had zero up/down/side/side play when doing the usual wheel bearing test, but when I had it off, if I pushed in on the bearing while spinning, it was nice and smooth, and if I pulled outward on the bearing while spinning, it was like a bunch of marbles were bouncing around in there.
Anyway... I guess the moral of the story is what we're all coming to experience nowadays - new parts can't be ruled out when trouble shooting.
Also, FWIW, the replacement hub is the same Eurospare POS made in China. AB says it's literally all they can get right now. I already had it throw a 3 amigos code yesterday that I reset and haven't seen again yet, but yeah... lots of top-dollar garbage parts out there for our Discos right now.

If l've said it once, l've said it a million times..."it's new" means nothing to me anymore.
Basically, cheap parts put all of the quality parts suppliers out of business or forced them to go over seas, too, and rely on crap manufacturing. Then once all of the quality parts suppliers are out of business...we start paying more for inferior parts and replace stuff every six months. Welcome to..."hey, it's cheaper"...mentality.
Amazon is using the same business model to destroy their competitors. Once every mom & pop, brick and mortar, competitor/business is crushed...prices will go up. Stopped using Amazon a year ago.
Anyhow, glad you're up and running again...for now.

damn I need to install hubs soon. I hate they didn’t just make the damn bearings serviceable on these trucks.
these are the proline units? Are genuine hubs available?
Based on my conversation with Atlantic British the other day, these unbranded (in a Eurospare box, Made in China) hubs are the only ones they can get right now.
