I have been in car audio for well over 20 years, owned a chain of audio stores and now just play with my own vehicles.

I'm thinking of doing a subwoofer upgrade in my personal D2 utilizing my passenger rear storage compartment where the flip out seats would go if I had a 7 passenger D2.

I will build an enclosure out of MDF and fiberglass and build it so anyone of you can install it yourself in your D2. I'm thinking of building to house a 10" subwoofer and using an external D-Class subwoofer amp off the factory head unit to run it.

I'm thinking the bare enclosure would sell for $150-$200, which is cheap for a custom built enclosure. You can install a 10" woofer of your choice and you would have to carpet it in the color of your interior.

I'm wondering, if I build several of them at one time...how many of you would be interested in purchasing one?
