Default Sucking oil 1/2+ quart per fill up

Been fighting this since purchasing the truck back in July. Due to this and other problems rebuilt a rebuilt engine. Process of elimination on the fresh rebuild (600 miles) got me to the intake manifold. First determined pcv was sucking some oil as the hose was wet and had oil pooled between the upper and lower manifold as well as in the intake runners. Normal?

Isolated the pcv and still consuming oil at same rate. So took off the intake to look at the gasket. Manifold and heads were milled and both look ok. Not sure if installation error, gasket failure or what. The oil consumption was part of the reason I rebuilt in the first place. Ideas welcome and what have others seen for oil on the valley pan and manifold on disassembly. Will take the gasket and manifold to the machine shop that did the work on Monday for their help.

Overpressurizing the case possibly? Have you done a leakdown and compression test?

Cylinders honed with new rings. Compression checked ok. Do not have a leak down tester. The liners put in by previous owner are 0.080 oversize and aftermarket pistons but thinking that’s ok as all measured to tolerance.

600 miles on heads along with new valve guides and seals. I visually inspected each one and look to be in place and secure
