Okay, I found the CDL. Looked up a thread that someone else had posted about it.

Alright then. Got the CDL swtiched and took it out for a ride. No more vibration. So I just had this shaft rebuilt in 2010 and had kept the U-joints greased regularly. What could have gone wrong?

Also, I can't locate my receipt information for where I had the shaft rebuilt but I seem to remember Mike or someone on the forum recommending a shop that sold rebuilt shafts with a core exchange. I recall that the shop was possibly in Alabama somewhere, but can't be certain. Does that location sound familiar to anyone? It cost me $189 because the guy was out of front shafts at the time and simply rebuilt my and returned it.

Thanks

I am having perhaps the same problem. Vibration begins at 65, 70MPH pretty bad.
high frequency grinding vibration.

I am simply avoiding speeds over 65mph for now.
Would be so appreciative if you keep us updated and appraised of your situation with the driveshaft.
