There is another fabricator in England... Something 4x4... That also sells theirs on eBay. The price is about 523 pounds plus shipping. But on closer inspection they make their bumpers for defenders and it looks like they just make different mount points for discos... Meaning that the bumpers are really too narrow once installed. Also, the shipping is a killer.

I found it. https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...stalled-56591/. Extremely stout looking! I want to be able to put a light on the stop of the bumper... I wonder how hard it would be to extend it out a bit.

TF009 - Discovery 2 winch bumper

if you have questions or need better pix drop me a line.

I see your in Tx. the one build by all south fabricators in Al. is a nice bumper for the money like $350,
I just could not get it to Boston for a reasonable price to heavy.
Love to see a picture of your TF bumper installed.

i want that TF bumper also. add $250 or so for shipping. RoversNorth is another good source.

OR maybe one of the guys who made bumpers - quite a few - would give us there plans....i'd pay for good ones.

I just spoke with Disco Mike on the phone and he had his bumper made years ago... to my eyes it looks like ARB (which costs, what, 1300 plus shipping?). I'm going to go to a welding shop and see what they think they can do and for how much. I'll let you know what I find out.

Unless you "know someone", custom fab bumpers usually cost more, especially if you're trying to mimic the curves/angles of an ARB. If you go with a simplified design (such as https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...stalled-56591/ ), that may be a different story.

If you go this route, I'd recommend adding an integrated 2" reciever hitch (reciever stock is around $25) to the middle. It gives you LOTS of recovery options (winch plate).
