Plastic Dips ok but if your rough on stuff like I am it will just chip off. If its all for show then sure looks great but it wont last if used hard. Me personally I'd rather do it once and move on to something else, rather than keep doing it because I didn't use the right stuff.

plasti dip is surprisingly resilient, as seen here on my car. (the whole vehicle is dipped)

Just did mine up with old school black shoe polish and a good brush buffing. Very pleased with the results and took five minutes. Sure it won't last, but makes the degraded area's way less obvious.

Seems to me to be obvious UV damage to crap plastic, how is it that no one ever took Land Rover to task for this? Particularly as it's not uniform, some of the plastic is more sensitive than others. Clearly a manufacturing flaw…
