The PO had silicones the two sunroof's shot and had put expanding foam in also.
They still leaked and the headliner was sagging so we opted to reolace it.
Removing the headliner was simple. Only issue was that if you have rear jump seats you need them down to get enough side tilt to remove the liner without creasing.
Once we got the silicone/foam cut out the rear sunroof worked perfectly. The front however had a seized motor.
Since it looks just like my 928 mwindow motor that I refurbed, I disassembled, cleaned and lubed and reassembled. Works like a champ...
Since there was still so much silicone/foam on the gaskets I ordered 2 new ones and will be replacing this week.
The nipples on the cups and hoses all appear to be in good condition. Looks like the rtv they used has come loose on a few Soni am epoxying them tonight...
Any might as well stay while we have the headliner out?

Water test it using a hose, or drive it around a week or two in the rain until you find all the leak points (and there are a lot) and seal them all with window caulk. Or, you might want to drop the black pan, look at the holes/slots etc. and then start plugging them. Suffice it to say the OEM design has a lot of leak points.
