Default Sunroof Motor Location

Hello Out There!
I have a 99 Landrover discovery I and I am having sunroof issues in the front. When I press open it just clicks. Before this I was able to get it the sunroof to up but not back.I have a new motor but have no idea where the sunroof motor is housed. Please help me and could not find any threads to aid me in this scenario.
Thanks

I doubt it needs a new motor, sounds like the drive mechanism failed, should have been cleaned and lubed along time ago. You will probably need to replace the sun roof assembly.
Have you tried to open the roof with the hand crank system, if it won't open the sun roof has failed.
There are used sun roof assemblys on line which are alot cheaper the new from the dealer,

Does anyone know exactly where the manual crank for a 95 Discovery front sun roof is. I read on your posting that it's under a plastic plug somewhere, but I removed my glass and looked everywhere and can't find it? Are there two of them for each rail? Does anyone have a picture? My manual does not show it. Thanks.
