Are all the sunroof seals on ebay, amazon, other websites just made by the same manufacturer? Are they ok quality, any certain ones to get/stay away from?

I purchased and installed a kit including the drains and new sunroof seals from Steve Parkers in the UK. Unfortunately they are out of business. Wherever you get the drains, go to Atlantic British and get new seals as well. Plus look on YouTube for a good video as to how to do a rebuild of the assembly. Not hard, mainly removing the unit, clean andlube the tracks, high temp silicone for the seal around and of course, new drain cups. Did it myself in my garage. Will require the removal of the headliner.

Did my 6 years ago and still no leaks and works great!!

Good luck.

This is news to me! Engaging search on YouTube….

At least one of my Discos has a bad sunroof that I think might be just what you are describing, so this would be worth a whirl.

I replaced the plastic cups that are on the corners, as well as blowing out the drain tubes. I used the HVAC hi temperature clear silicone to reseal the metal housing unit to the roof itself. The YouTube video I found (which I currently cant find again!!) was a gentleman who did sunroofs for a living. Well thought out, very informative. Of course, those are the videos you can't seem to find again. Anyway, it was fine. Just remove it all, use new drain cups (find on eBay, etc) clean the hoses, lube the tracks and any gearing while you're and take your time. Worth the effort!!

I was planning on doing all the sealing and new cups, but I see the seals that the glass seal to online, wondering if those were all the same.

If your sunroofs are sealed to the body, and the glass sealed to the rubber, it is not possible for water to reach the cups. People talk about the cups/drains a lot, but they aren't the main issue at all.

I drove in pre-hurricane rain conditions and zero water ended up in my drains.

The design is such that some water will get into the metal tray. if it is sealed to the body, then that water is carried away by the drain cups and drain lines, down through the pillars.
