Default Suspension advice

I run a D2 TD5 which I am about to replace the shockers on both front and rear with Terrafirma's. The truck has SLS air suspension and no ACE. I am thinking of replacing the front road springs, again with Terrafirma's, is there any issues with leaving the air SLS rear suspension without replacing the bags as they seem to work fine. Also I will take down the compressor unit and service that whilst doing the suspension. Anyone with some suggestions and ideas would certainly be welcome.

depending on age, it may not be a bad idea to swap with new ones...but nah, no need. I'd wait till they spring a leak. they will.

I was thinking the same They've got 121K miles and 11 years on them although an easier life than off roading with 95% on pavement but 20K miles heavyish towing. What happens when they flunk do you lose the suspension totally or one side and is the truck driveable?

yep, you get the honor of riding home on your axle bump stops.
small leaks can be "not as bad" but bags are quick to replace

I got your drift Dusty and ordered the new air springs. LR reckon they should be changed every 5 years so I'm cruising on borrowed time. I'm trying to match up some 'standard' Terrafirma shocks and put those on at the same time with matching Terrafirma front road springs. Then it'll be time for the new engine and autobox mounts to be installed. Trouble is I can't spend too much time playing with the truck otherwise I'll get 'earache' for not doing other jobs - like mowing the grass or finishing the pathway and new shed base. Never ending
