I do not.

 

Open to bonnet, push down hard on the front of the truck. Look at the upper shock bushings for possible failure. If the truck moves up and down freely of the shocks at all, that's your problem. I had a similar knock when mine went.

 

Thanks ZG. I will check that. Are the upper shock bushings isolated or separate from my shocks (which are new Terrafirma's)? I'll ask another way. Are the upper shock bushings pressed into the shock itself?

 

Do you have any poly bushing (instead of rubber) on any of the suspension links, including the shocks. Sometimes they can make noise if you don't keep them greased.

They are pressed into the shocks themselves. I had a Terrafirma and an Old man emu upper shock bushing blow.

How did you do the install ?
Did you pull the towers?

What in getting at is the tower securing rings loose

 

Yeah, within a month an a half my front passenger side upper bushing completely blew out, it would just sit there when you pushed the truck down. Tf127

 

If you are thinking of replacing the swaybar links, I would consider getting some disconnects.
