Exclamation Suspension lift and rear spring conversion questions.

Hey folks,
I've read up on several of the threads on this subject but I'm still left with some questions. I'd like to get a rear coil spring conversion kit but I'd like to also put a lift on it at the same time. Will the OME kits cover that or will the conversion kit be additional? Also, I'll be hauling my dump trailer and tractor from time to time so I was thinking of getting the HD kit to accommodate the weight on the hitch. Any recommendations on kits that will work for under $1000? One other thing is that I just got new Cooper discoverer STT's 265/75R/16 so the lift would have to make room for those. Any help you guys could give me would be much appreciated!

Those cooper's that you have listed up there should fit with no problems especially once you get a kit on your car. They're 31.64 inches total so an OME kit would jack you up an estimated 2 inches total. The only thing with the heavy duty springs is that when you're not towing tractors and other heavy things the ride will be bumpier and a bit more wobbly. I know fitment on D1's is a bit different than D2's but you should have no problem with 31's

I've read a few posts about vibrations associated with the HD kit too. Hmm. Does anybody have any experience with this kit?

I have the Terrafirma HD 2in kit and like it well and I have never noticed any vibration.

Hmm If I recall, it was the OME kits, not the TF, that were associated with the vibration. Not sure though. So nobody has experience with the BritPart Super gaz kits? They claim a 1.6" lift with 4 shocks and 4 springs for $549 on Atlantic British. Seems like a good deal.

if you don't plan on re-gearing and putting hd shafts on then i would say stick with the 265/75/16's but i would go with the TF kit from Lucky 8 or Underground Rovers. its another $100 more than your super gaz kit but im yet to hear any rave reviews about that kit.
