Has anybody used these? What are the pros and cons?

I have a '96 Disco with stock springs and shocks. My plan is to lift with spacers (less money than a spring lift)and replace the shocks at that time.
Is the concept behind the spacers soundor am I better off saving up for a spring lift.

Save up your money and do it the right way. If after installing new coils and shocks, you still want more height then install some spacers.
I have a 97 Disco I with over 100,000 miles and the springs were starting to sag from hauling heavy loads over very rough roads. But daily driving was mostly empty so I did not want a higher spring rate. I opted for new stock springs from Rovers North and added a 1" spacer below the rear springs. I am very pleased with the setup. I have the stock ride (not toostiff)when the Disco is unloaded and at night (with heavy loads)oncoming drivers aren't flashing me their high beams.
That being said I am still interested in the OME springs for larger tires evetually(2" lift) and am interested in how much more noticeably harsh the ride will be.
