Default Suspension meltdown

I just came out to find my disco bottomed out. It was doing this early this summer but a new set of arnott bags fixed the prob. The dash light is on with both the up and down arrows and the compressor isn't kicking in. I'm not around my rave cd so I was wondering what I should check first before I flip my **** and roll it down a hill into traffic. Thanks.

And people call me crazy when I suggest that at the first signs of SLS trouble you switch to coils.

Sorry, but I have no real help for you.

You decide what you want to do, let us know and then maybe we can help you.
These are not hard systems to trouble shot with the right equipment.

If its a fuse or relay I'll keep it but if it is the compressor I'm going to go with a lift. I'm going to start searching the forums for that route, I know I've read a million posts about it but I don't remember what was said. Right now I've got a loaner jeep but I need to make the decision in the next couple of days. I'm finally near my rave manual so I will look around on that (however I am apparently more mechanically inept than I initially thought...) Any advise is welcome.
btw: I was thinking a medium duty lift, 2" I have an ARB bumper I want to put on but it doesn't have the winch mount so I'm thinking I don't need heavy duty?

Unless you want to spend some money to have a mechanic scan the SLS section in the ECU, you won't find it.
If you want help with this, send me your number and I'll call you, either for lift ideas or fixing the SLS.

New development. I went out to unhook the battery just to see if that would do anything and decided to start it first. There were no lights and the back shot up like normal. Does this narrow my hunt for the culprit seeing as the pump is working fine? I'm glad its working but there is obviously something wrong. Im still thinking that I am going to go with an ome lift unless someone talks me out of it. I don't want to be left stranded in the middle of nowhere.

The only thing I really know about the SLS is that is sucks and you should rip it out the first chance you get.
It WILL leave you stranded.
