15's are supposed to fit, test though. You may need to remove the brake shields, something I recommend anyway as just just trap mud and rocks inside the rims.

ORIGINAL: Disco Mike

So what size and brand tire would make you go to a 15" wheel?
Iwill be fiiting 29.5 inch bfg m/t i really am trying to completely avoid the lifti dont do any serious offroading i just need something that will get me through some decent mud and the rims i am looking at really fit the theme i plan on doing. I just need a little more grip. Ilove the look of those rims on rovers also.

you wont need a lift for that size tire and just like ajh said, take off the brake shield and the 15s will work.

Why spend the money for new wheels, what size are you running now?
245/75/16 BFG AT's fit well on an unlifted Disco.

Also, even if you're not lifting put on some disconnects on the front swaybar at least (EE is taking them over from Slickrock at the moment so they should be available again soon) and if you're spring in the back you'll want to remove or fit some kind of disconnect, I'm looking at some JKS "quick" disconnects since they split in the middle since in the rear the end pin is obstructed on one side. Even with stock suspension and mud tires with the swaybars disconnected you'll see a significant improvement off-road. Just that change make my truck go from tipping in deep holes to running through them fairly smoothly.
