while working on the no go"hopefully have that fixed this weekend" saw some rot under neath.is there a good place to get ready made floor pans or go the route of fabbing what i need in the car.worst seems to be the rear cargo erea.and is this a common thing on the disco. if it is oh well love playing with my welder anyways.well thanks ahead for your time

I think it's common for most 15 yo vehicles in the rust belt. The thing with Rovers is that they look good on the outside because of the Aluminum panels but can be rotted to hell underneath.

Happened to me with my 87 Range Rover. If you want a cheaper solution than an entire floor pan replacement (which can be done), you can get treated sheet-metal that will not rust and rivet it to the inside of the floor pan. You will want to cut out the rust and coat the original flooring edges with something like POR15. Also seal the sheet-metal to the floor pan to keep water from leaking in from below.

thanks dave well i have to pull it all apart gee this will make the wife ever so happy.going to need beer and earplugs.
