Default is synthetic trans/ power steer/ brake/ diff/ oil- all fluids- necessary?

I'm about to do a 90k service and am following Mike's 60k service, where he recommends all synthetic everything. Is it really necessary?
Also- some here say not to use Dex-Cool, but Mike says to use it. If I am to use another kind of coolant, what then to use?

No full synthetic is not necessary.
Use any aluminum safe coolant.
No do NOT use Dex-Cool.
Just Google Dex-Cool.

And from our own write up section.

Listen to spike,,, he is correct....I used the best of everything and my motor blew...the trucks in general are a POS so there is nothing you can do to keep it from blowing up , which at some point ....it will...

Mikes advise is top noch and invaluable and i call on him regularly for advise .... It's just i know in my heart i am driving a POS....
