Power Steer Bleed Screw Missing?
I was trying to flush my power steering system, and i was sucking the fluid out with a little sucker tool i got from autozone.
Anyway i got all that i could out, (just about a quart), and filled it up with the new fluid.
I went to bleed it and when i looked for the bleed screw it was just a little piece of plastic, like a nipple. It was cracked and it really didnt seem like it would be able to hold any pressure at all.
Here is a picture to assist you with assisting me! Thanks!
Also, my temp gage is on cold again!

There is a much better way to flush the p/s system, instead of using the bleed screw.
Buy 4 quarts of p/s fluid, use your hand pump, suck out the fluid, refill it, start the engine, turning the steering wheel full left and right 2 times, shut the engine off, remove the old fluid, add another quart and repeat till the fluid you are removing comes out clear, usually 4 quarts is needed.

Here is the way I do it, you will need a friend.
Remove the return line of the power steering from the bottom of the reservoir and stick it into a empty gallon jug, clear if you can, like a empty washer solvent bottle.
(this is messy)
Have your friend start the engine while you keep the reservoir full.
Once nothing but clear fluid comes out shut it off, put it back together and top it off.
Done.
Then you are good to go for another 100k.
Or you can just keep topping it off once a week because it leaks and then you never have to change it because it flushes itself.
