T-case r&r
So, I got a replacement T-case...I'm more accustomed to NP cases...opened the shipping container and my/my. all sorts of stuff I'm not accustomed to on a replacement t-case...the linkage, parking brake...
Been reading the t-case posts, sounds differfent from what I'm used to...like one post said "24 hrs"...hopin' he's WRONG!
In any case, if anyone has any salient observations/tips that might not be in the RAVE or other posts, I would really LIKE to hear them! As I so HATE re-inventing the wheel!
Currently, my case is leaking, badly in the 75-85mph range, not so bad @ 65-70...interesting...but time to go.
All help and words of wisdom woukld be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

What year is your truck, do you have a CDL currently in your truck, what year is the donor t/case from and be specific cause it can make a difference.
As for directions, down load the Rave CD posted in my signature section, it is a free shop manual.

Hi Mike, have the RAVE, etal...Mine is a 2K Disco 2, w/ CDL, replacement has CDL. Frequently, they're little items that only previous experience is privy to...equally, not mentioned in repair manuals...which is really what I'm looking for BEFORE I tear into this.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
