Tail door subs glued in?

Default Tail door subs glued in?
Went to swap mine and found they were glued in place. The glue is in addition to the screws. Appears to be factory.

Anyone have any suggestions for getting them out without breaking something

Mine had no glue on them at all.

The more I read it seems they didn't discover glue until 2004
