How do you clean the radiator

Default How do you clean the radiator

without taking it out ... is there an L shaped adapter or something you can buy that fits down there? I need to blow all the stuff out ..

You want to clean the outside or inside

outside is easy go from the front take a hose and wash it out

inside put a good rad flush drive it for 10-20 min take lower hose out let it drain take upper hose out take that hose again and flush it
you can flush everything just take hoses out


what coolant are you running????

The outside .. it has gunk all over it making the temp run higher.. the radiator is after market .. thicker than stock .. the hose won't reach

Is there an L shaped thing I can buy somewhere

I have used the high pressure washer at the local car wash to clean mine

You are looking for something thin to fit between the condenser and radiator? Maybe you could modify something like this:

They make cleaning products for radiator coils that foam to loosing up buildup. Then you simple spray out with a hose after the foam sits for a bit. May take a couple of applications if your radiator is real dirty,
