Default Tailgate Hinge Pins Removable?

Does the rear hinge pin come out in order to get some new "washers" in the hinge. You can see in the pic the gap and how the door has dropped that couple millimeters. I cannot get any play in the hinge by physically lifting on the door while open.
I am betting I will be needing a new lower hinge.

They always rust and need to be replaced. That's an item we sell plenty of no doubt. HINGE ASSY REAR DOOR UPPER DISCOVERY II, RNN428, BHB700032 - Land Rover Parts | Rovers North

I had to get a new hinge after my tailgate swung open and bent the lower portion- You will definitely need a helper to get the door off AND you will also need to drill out a couple of rivets- Good Luck
