Default tailight and exhaust

recently i removed the resonator off my disco and all was well until i drove about 4.5 hours only to find that my driver side tailight wasnt working. i quickly found out that the exhaust fumes had burnt the light thus causing it to not work. i was looking on atlantic british and found new tailights for $57. would this be all i need to fix this( besides a turndown pipe for the exhaust )?

If you're making that trip again I'd look into getting some type of heat shield/insulation until the new tip is installed also.
