Td5 landmark vs V8 landmark.
Hi guys ( newbie )
i have just recently sold my house and s11a swb and looking at buying a disco2 landmark / premium, the reason i want one is we are buying a static caravan in cornwall and want something cumfy to travel down there in also plan to tow another series on a trailer from time to time but woundered which would be the best for the job v8 or td5, at the mo we own a disco 1 300 tdi manual but the missus has a weak left knee and finds the clutch a bit heavy so it needs to be an auto rather than a manual, i am not really interested in gas convertions for the v8 but do faver the td5 at the mo can anyone tell me the pros and cons with both of them please.

The TD5 will have more low end touqre and better fuel economy.
Here in the US we cant get the TD5 so I cant tell you much about it.
The V8 is thirsty, 18 mpg on the expressway.
Both are rated for the same towing capacity.
If I had the choice I would get the TD5.
