Default TD5 Transplant

Hi I have a mechanically sound D2 but with rusty chassis and tatty bodywork and I'm contemplating buying a dead V8D2 and transplanting my engine and gearbox is it just a nut and bolt jod with change of ecu's fuel system etc any help ?

Pretty much, ECU, engine mounts, fuel system flush. I looked into it in the event my V8 coughs up it is pretty straight forward. There may be a few other odds and ends required in the engine compartment related to the diesel engine

Cheers just what I thought and as I will have a complete donor car everything will be to hand and can see what is missing or not needed.
