Pulled all the carpet and used spray on bedliner. Its easier to clean. Got rid of the stained carpet. Don't have to worry about dog hair stuck all over the carpet.

Noise didn't seem much different. If you offroad a bit and load and unload dirty equipment its worth getting rid of the carpet.

For a city driver for groceries and luxury, keep the carpet unless its wrecked or stained.
