Terrafirm lift kit question

Hey all. I've got a question about the +2" air-to-coil conversion lift kits I see attractively advertised- like part number "TF229."
How (if at all) do these differ from a lift kit for a vehicle without air suspension? Can I use an air-to-coil conversion kit to replace my clapped-out, standard '04, non-SLS suspension? It seems like a silly question, but I don't know... Maybe the spring perches are different or something?
Thanks as always,
Gavin

If your '04 has rear springs and all you want to do is replace the 4 springs, then there is nothing special to it.

I used the kit on mine. 04 without air ride. Spring perches are the same, I just replaced mine with the new ones because they were new.
My only problem was that one of the front springs was a half inch taller than the other. I just added a half inch spacer and leveled it up, but honestly it's a shame the quality control wasn't any better. Also I installed my TF lift December 26, 2013 and on December 28, 2014 I have 2 dead TF shocks. I haven't pulled the other 2 because I don't have the funds at the moment anyway to be replacing shocks.

Gavin,
The only difference in the kit is that it comes with 2 new spring plates, mounting screws and isolators for the rear. There is no difference in the spring plates at all.
FWIW, spending the $ on a kit with 2" MD springs and getting the +2" extended shocks is a waste of money as youre never going to fully maximize the shocks potential if you do not extend your brake and abs lines at the same time. The MD springs are also a little more stout, so if you do flex, you run the risk of dropping a spring so purchasing retainers is also recommended.

Thanks Erik,
I'm actually already running the Goodridge +2 SS brake lines and have re-routed the ABS wheel sensor leads accordingly. I currently have a ToddCo spacer lift that will be getting removed to make room for a proper lift.
Cheers,
Gavin
