Default Thanks

I have been on the fence about purchasing a 2004 Discovery and this forum has helped me make a decision to buy.

I really appreciate all the helpful information posted here in such a polite and helpful manner. SaabCentral has always been there for me with my 9.5 aero and I am thrilled to find and even more in depth forum to help me move into the cult of the Land Rover.

Reading all the different posts leads me to believe that reliability is based on proper maintenance and that the horror stories seem to be the result of a general lack of foresight from most Land Rover owners. Seems just like my Saab.

I am upgrading from decent 96 Grand Cherokee with a 3.5" suspension lift, BF Goodrich mud terrains, and a little bit of motor work to help with the low end. I am excited to find how this Discovery is going to compare to my old faithful.

sincerely,

stonnie

You'll be pleased to find that the Land Rover crowd is as friendly and even more so than the Jeep community. Much less 'know it all ' teenagers here ( except for Spike) and the young folks that do own a Rover have excellent manners. I guess that you have to be real smart to own a Rover at a very young age.

Don't get me wrong,, there are Rover place that can and will tell you offat the first occasion, but not here. I'll let you find the other places on your own.

Welcome.

I hear ya, somethings are WAY more important than any thing that you could own, ever. I have three things more important than my trk, or me for that matter.
I knew you were just messin' with me. I've got a personality and am not a total stiff. Life's short, have fun with it.
