Seen some cool things as well. I reached out to Adventure Ready in Seattle after seeing what they had done to my buddy's LC 80 Series and asked if they made a custom fab for a D2. They're going to possibly mock up something for me and get back. Will post photos. Basically it's the outback solutions expedition drawer set with custom side panels to make a flat surface.

With drawers and the custom job it's probably ~$1200 ish.

Working on cleaning this bad boy up today!Any word on whether the white stuff is part of the headliner or glue? Very tough to come off!

I can't answer your question directly, but when I stripped and painted mine several years ago the solvent of choice was denatured alcohol. The old adhesive came right off and there was no residue to interfere with the primer and paint. Use that and whatever doesn't come off is the fiberglass.

Sounds good to me. Actually hit it (very carefully) with the pressure washer and it did wonders. Now it’s sitting in the garage drying. Managed to do it very quickly so very little water volume was actually on the surface.

I would still use the denatured alcohol. It will remove any traces of the foam and the original adhesive.

Will do. Anybody got some recommendations for what to do wiring wise while the headliner is out? Thinking of replacing all the lights with LED for starters.
